Feedlot employee / mechanic job opening on a farm/ranch working with 4,000-5,000 head of cattle on grass in summer and feedlot in winter. Previous feedlot experience and mechanical skills a must. Feed, process and brand calves. ATV's are used not horses. Haul silage and manure. Build corrals. CDL desirable. 1200 acres of crops under pivot irrigation. Assist father and son with this modern feedlot operation with return alleys and driveways. Must be able to work alone. Ideal rural / remote setting for a person or a couple (both must like this type of work). Benefits include one day off/week, housing, and health insurance after 6 months. |
